Honk if Parts Fall Off

Afternoon. Here's something you Georgetown owners might want to check. Arrived home yesterday afternoon after a stay in Titusville to watch a rocket launch. Somewhere between there and home the chrome trim piece around the right headlamps came off??? It was definitely on when I left for home. Never heard or saw anything. There are 4 of 8 mounting bolts still in their holes that appear to have sheared off where they were glued to the trim. The other 4 holes are empty and do not look like the bolts ripped out...not 100% sure they were ever there. I'm pretty meticulous about checking over, under and around the coach to make sure things are secure. Never occurred to me to check the mounting for this trim. The other side has all boils, washers and nuts and is tight.

Good times!

My retirement job is working part time at an auto parts store. I can't count the times that people come in looking for parts after arriving at our local "RV Resort" or "Family Campground". They are usually surprised and very annoyed that we don't have model specific trim, covers, slide tools etc. Walk around and check for loose trim and covers before you leave, after you arrive and before you leave again. Doesn't matter if it's a $2M unit or $5K, quality control is just as poor with each. We have a local guy that sells RV parts out of his storage unit in town that he collects on the side of the road and it's amazing to see what he finds laying there!
