Hot Cab - How do you overcome it?

We have purchased a 2020 Georgetown G6B5 - and the sun room cabin is intensely hot in the summer sun. I did notice that the cabinets along the roof are very hot. I looked in the cabinet up towards the windshield and there appears to be an opening of sorts, and hot air is steadily flowing into the cab. Has anyone else encountered this? What has been effective in overcoming the heat? I tried searching the forums with no success. The picture is the void in the upper cabinets that seems to go all the way to the windshield. I feel like this should have some type of insulation to prevent the hot air from entering the cab?

I have no idea what I’m looking at in your photo.

Giant versions of these to help if you’re parked in direct sunlight.
If possible, never point the windshield facing the afternoon sun.
You’re inside a giant fish bowl.

My biggest problem is that the heat is almost overwhelming while driving. The picture is the opening in the upper cabinets that seems to be a void all the way to the windshield! I have been thinking about using some insulation to close this void and hopefully stop the influx of very hot air.
