Hot water issue

I'm having issues with getting hot water in our showers when running the generator. Could it be that my propane is off from the winter and I just need to turn the propane tank on? Or does the Gas Water Heater need to be turned on the monitor panel? It is a 2019 Forest River Georgetown 36b5

Propane needs to be on to use for hot water. If a Suburban WH that's elec/gas, outside on for elec heating and inside switch on for propane hating. You can use both a the same time for faster recovery.

If you want the water to run on electricity you need to turn on the switch at the HWT if you want it to heat with propane you need to ensure your propane tank is open and the switch for the DSI on the panel is turned on. Also ensure the HWT is not still bypassed from when you winterized.

The bypass valve is open, sounds like I just need to turn the propane tank on. Thanks

Also, every time we take a shower the carbon monoxide goes off and doesn't stop until we have to reset it numerous times. Anyone else have this issue?
