House battery size 2004 Georgetown

Hi,
I bought with my girlfriend a nice 2004 33 feet 6 inches Georgetown. It has only 78000 km (48000 miles). The house batteries are 2 hybrid Gr 24 in parallel. They are done, I charged them with an intelligent charger for a while with no sucess. I want to replace them. The rack length is 13 inches.

Do you know if originaly there was gr 27 in there when my George was new?

Sorry for my english, I am a french Canadian!

GR 24 and GR 27 are the same width, 6.73 inches.
GR 24 are 10.92 inches long
GR 27 are 12.84 inches long.
