How do you like your 335DS ?

Probably should have asked before we bought it, but we bought a 2016 Georgetown 335DS and wondering how everyone is enjoying theirs. What issues should I be on the look out for? We pick it up Thursday.

335

We have had our 2014 335 for 3 years and put about 30,000 miles on it. Our major use of the unit include January through mid April to escape the cold weather. We just returned home from a month in New England and the maritimes. Add to that a week or two at a time visiting the kids, a few days for a fall color tour, and you'll have a good idea of how we use the unit.

In the time that we have had the unit, we have not experienced any ongoing issues. One design issue that has come to our attention is the conversion of the couch into a bed. It needed a supplement the cushion to create a flat sleeping surface. It also deploys in such a way as to restrict bathroom access. It is a minor issue, but just be sure any guests are good friends or family.

Enjoy your new motorhome!

We just bought a new to us 2014 Georgetown 335 that was in immaculate condition inside and out. Only had 6,800 miles on it. We have had it about 6 weeks now and we are very happy with it so far. No complaints to speak of. I agree about the sofa/bed pull out situation, we knew that before we bought it and didn't consider that a major issue for us. I wish there was a little more outside cargo storage space but again, not a major deal.

Good luck and I'm sure you made a good decision!

X2 on the 335. We love ours, but agree on the bed issues. Only a problem a week a year. Otherwise extremely happy with it.

This is my second year have had 2 problems. !) the slide topper didn't have enough tension and popped and torn. Lucky still under warranty needed to replace. 2) check your rubber gaskets around your slides mine were replaced THREE times the last time with forest river still had problem. Found out by my service tech that screws were missing running down all the sides to keep them in place. Glue on the underside keeps letting go

One of my slides broke the 1st time I used it... bolts are not strong enough. Get them replaced as soon as possible. So far, with the stronger bolts, all good.
Love my unit otherwise. A few small things, but that's to be expected.
Good luck and have fun!

Check top corners of windshield molding for separation.

Thanks for all the good info. I finally got a couple days off with good weather so I'll be taking closer look at these items.
I did notice driving it home a rattle sound coming from driver side top of windshield area. It could be wind noise, not sure. First thought it was fan but finally ruled that out. I'm going to check the moldings today.

If you have a crank up tv antenna most likely the antenna hitting the roof is that noise.

Should I be Worried about this

Only on the upper driver's side. Late 2014 model 335. First time I checked and don't know if it is growing.

We've had ours since January and love it. No major problems to date and just finished driving our 2016 335 out from Colorado to FLA for a household move over 3 days. Staying in the MH while we wait for our mover to catch up and much prefer the bus to a hotel room. Enjoy!

Thanks for all the input. Great info. We started our first full trip with it 4th today. Dollyed our vw bug behind us. So far we are living it, so easy to maneuver and set up compared to our 5th wheel.
I found the rattle today, it's the pull down window shade, now just need to find a solution.
