I don't have a 351 DS but I tow a 2012 Ford Escape on a tow dolly with my 32 foot Class C. No issues whatsoever.

Mine is smaller, a 337DS. I tow a Dodge Dakota V8 4WD with a Cricket in the bed.

We pull a Focus with our 2860 DS. Hardly know it is back there. On of the smaller number of automatics you can tow without lots of procedures.

We tow a 2008 Honda CR-V. No issues and easy to tow. I could have it hooked up or unhooked in less than 2 minutes.
I just bought a 2018 F150 to start towing, so does anyone need a CR-V?

Thanks everyone. I’m currently towing a Fiat 500 on a tow dolly and thinking about getting something bigger. Dodge Guy, are you towing the Explorer with a 351 and if so, what kind of mpg are you getting?

We started off with a 2010 Chevy HHR LT. Light and actually has a bit of room to haul bicycles and stuff in the back. We now have a Lincoln MKZ 3.7, also able to carry bicycles and what not with the rear seat down. Both are flat towable.

I tow a 2013 Edge on a tow dolly.
MPG... more of a wind thing than anything else. I've seen just under 7 to just over 8. Really just try to hope i can fill it without having to do the CC thing 2x's -- at least with the $/gal down i can do that.

We have a 350 TS (3 slides). We get 5.5-5.8 towing the Explorer, maybe 6 without the generator running. The Explorer weighs 4500lbs. So we are rolling down the road heavy. I’m guessing around 25k lbs combined!

310 DS (2015) Toad
I have been flat towing a 2009 Chevy Colorado (4 door) four wheel drive.
Being four wheel drive I shift the2wd/4wd selector to neutral. Easy Peezy.
Never a problem, in thousands of miles towing, through the northwest U.S. and Canada.

I always seem to be around 6 miles per gallon when towing anything.
