How to convert dinette into bed

We just purchased a 2018 Georgetown with a booth dinette. How do you remove the cushions from the back of the dinette in order to convert it into a bed? We tried pulling on them but they won’t budge and we don’t want to tear anything! Help!!

I didn't think the seat backs were removable. On my uncle's I remember just removing the bottom cushions and lowering the table, then putting the seat cushions back.

If it's like our 2020 dinette, you don't need to. They do lift straight up on ours, though. There's an angle bracket screwed to the wood "wall" back and a hole drilled in the wood of the cushioned seat back. The bracket on the "wall" slips in the hole. Hokey but it works.

To turn it into a bed on ours, remove both bench seat cushions. Under the table at the end closest to you is a lever that gets turned to the other side to unlock the table. Then the table gets pushed down. Install the bench seat cushions. Then take the third cushion and wedge it between the other two. You'll swear that third cushion is too wide but it's not. Just work your hand along each of the edges to push them down and then it stays in place.

Unless, of course, you do not have the third cushion. Then you have a different problem...

We stash ours behind the recliners. I'd start by looking behind large furniture.

Not under the bed but I might have to run out and check behind the sofa

Back Cushions

Hello, on our 2017 31R5 those back cushions are held on with heavy duty Velcro. It does take a pretty good amount of a pull to get them off. If you pull the cushion back a little, you should be able to see the Velcro strips. We've never used the extra cushion, and just put the back cushions down to make the bed.

You might also check in the wardrobe cabinet! Ours was wedged in and we didn't even notice it was there, as it took up the entire space, top to bottom. A replacement can be ordered if it is no where to be found. I can give you a contact at FR if needed. Good luck!
