There is a constant hum coming from the rear of the Georgetown 270s. Nothing in motorhome was on. Any ideas?
Is it coming from near the converter? There's usually a fan that will cool the converter if it gets too hot. Usually ours comes on when it's charging the house battery.

Most likely it is from the contactor in the transfer switch (shore power/generator). Also if you have a hard wired EMS/surge protector it would have an internal contactor as well. Contactors are electromagnetic devices, when they are used with AC power many will hum. This is not an issue.

2X See if the noise goes away when the unit is fully charged or disconnected from shore (AC) power.
