Red wires should go to the post marked w/+
black wires go post marked w/ -

+ stands for positive
- stands for negative

make sure you check this / or you can damage batterys / and get hurt

Gotcha but it was not the main wires I was confused on there are three smaller wires white-green -blue that also connect - the pict above looks correct or similar - I would have thought however white would be positive instead of negative but i will give that config a shot

Here are pictures of how my batteries looked before I installed the new ones. I took these so I'd know how to reconnect the wires when I put in the new batteries.

Also I attached a much clearer picture of the new battery install. It was taken with a much better camera and you can clearly see where all those little accessory wires go.

The blue and green wires are the hot leads for the fridge and propane sensor.

I was told by my RV dealer that on RVs, white is usually ground, FWIW.

Whenever I get into something I am not familiar with in the MH I take digital pix of the situation untouched and then more as I disasemble. they become my reference when I get back to the job in a few days. Sure has saved me several times.

I see I'm not the only one that takes picture of everything on our coach; tow bar hookup, battery wiring etc. I keep them in a file with all the other instruction manuals. I look like a junior executive walking from the coach to the house at the end of the season.

If you can zip tie your hot wires together and your negative wires together to simplify re-attachment in the future.
