I contacted King yesterday. I talked through the issue with a tech on the phone and we both think the cable is binding up. It should be fairly simple to pop the enclosure off and see. There isn't a lot happening inside the antenna so this should be a straightforward fix next time I'm at the coach.

Good luck. My unit had a bad cable (coax) from the splitter to the antenna up in the enclosure on the roof, per the tech. He had replaced the antenna recently and a kink in that cable was causing the attenuator to short out, although the antenna would rotate as designed.

Not too serious about anything except what affects health and happiness.

Bummer. Ours otherwise seems to work fine when you don't have to fine-tune it for signal. I'm really thinking the cable is just not where it is supposed to be in the housing.
