Leather seat conversion

Good Day,
I have a 2007 Georgetown motorhome, the front captain seats have cloth covers, I would like to change them to leather skins. Has anyone had this done? Can these be ordered from the manufacturer or do I have to get it done at an upholstery shop from scratch?

Thanks

I have read on this forum people getting new replacement covers for seats from the manufacturer of the seats. I would check with the manufacturer first because they would be manufactured to fit precisely the seat. I think I have seen them advertised at camping world, you may try there also. Good Luck!!

Just a thought...you might come out just as cheap by looking at some of the RV surplus or salvage guys on the web. Search "RV surplus parts" and/or "RV salvage". You might be pleasantly surprised. The first link below is an example of a brand new "surplus" captain's chair. The second is Visone RV. I've talked to them before and they are really nice folks.

I'm not sure who manufactures the seats, it looks like Flex Steel, but I've always seen their name on the armrest, mine doesn't say Flex Steel on the armrest. This may or may not mean anything.

Your best bet is to use a proper upholstery specialist. We've used these before Leisure Vehicle Upholstery - Quality Since 1997 | Regal Furnishing and they were able to the work really quick.

I bought covers from GT covers for my class c. They are leather where body touches and vinyl elsewhere. Perfect fit and color and quality. Took about an hour to put on both. Cost $400.00. You must know manufacturer of you seat-call and talk to them- they were very nice.
