Lippert hydraulic question

I have 2015 360XL. I noticed and oil spot on driveway. Found that my clear hydraulic fluid tank was wet. Cleaned it really good and cycled my stabilizer jacks s couple of times. Appeared to be leaking out of breather cap and the yellow plug on side of tank. The yellow plug on side of tank had a rubber gasket and it was cracked. The breather cap sponge was soaked in fluid and it was spitting out the breather cap. I couldn't find the same gasket as on the plug but used a oring of the right size. Looked in the owners manual and it says to fill to 1/4" below fill neck. I did but fluid is above the plug on side of tank. Can anyone explain if I'm doing something wrong? Not sure what the side plug is for. Right now tank is dry and keeping an eye on it. Thanks in advance

You have to check the level that your talking about with all jacks up on level ground, then it's 1/4 down. DO NOT fill the reservoir when the jacks are down. You will over fill it.. .

I will take a look, I have never noticed one on mine, might be a breather tube so it can't be sucked down to a vacuum. MAYBE...

That is what the top fill plug is.

Some reservoir tanks have fill on top, some on side, like mine, no cap on top. I have to use 12 point socket and long extension with swivel to reach it. Then a funnel with tubing to fill. Then duct tape fill cap to socket to screw back in. Pita but works.
