Main slide

Has anyone had trouble with there main living area slide activating (sliding out) during auto-leveling process on a 378tl. I have had my main slide go out on its own 4 or 5 times now during auto leveling. I have it at the dealer now but they cant find anything wrong. Has anyone heard of this happening on a georgetown motorhome?

I can't recall if this issue has ever come to light on this forum for the GT 378. I personally have not experienced it on my 2012 GT378 but I also have the engine running when levelling (either manual or automatic levelling); which will not allow slides to extend or retract via the ignition slide lockout interlock.

A few things come to mind but you need to have RV dealer look at it.

1. You have a low level of fluid in the tank.
Check with everything in and up and the level should be within 1/2" from the top

2. You have a leak some where. Hose, fitting or at the electric pump.
A leaky line or fitting could be any one of the hundreds of feet of hose.
Have you noticed any puddles?

3. If you recently have some service done on the hydraulic system one of the valves was not manually closed or not seated fully and you are getting fluid thru that slide valve. See attached picture of how you suppose to have them normally

My bet it's #1 or #2

I believe the fuse for the interlock is in the battery control center box. This may help: (Notice the last 15 amp fuse on the right). Your 2007 BCC may not look exactly the same but the fuse should be there. May have to check all the fuses.

As stated before, one of your valves may not be seated properly, causing pressure to leak into the slide cylinders. The interlock may not connected to this issue.
I would check to see if your slides continue to move or move faster once the jacks hit the ground or get fully extended, indicating your valve body may be the problem.
Another option is to disconnect the lockout solenoid and see if the problem persist.
I have not had this issue and I am not an expert so my advice is worth what you are paying for it. [emoji2]
Please let us know what you find out.
