Main slide had a crunching sound while running out

Went to push the slide out and there was a crunching sound.

It looks like there is a cable track there similar to the big one in the kitchen slide.

Any clues as to why it broke and how to fix it?

The track pieces will clip back together unless they are broke. What usually happens is that there isn't enough of a ramp to push the track up the wall, it gets in a bit of a bind, then pieces unsnap or break.

Is it going down a hole when extending? If so, yeah, several of us had had that happen:

I've never seen how it the e-chain works on a 2015, though. From the one picture it looks like a similar problem; the e-chain did not go down the hole and instead bunched up against the wall and got smashed by the slide.
