Anything that makes it harder for the thief will at least send them to an easier target. I didn't realize catalytic converters were still stolen these days. We had 2 or 3 company diesel trucks in Alberta robbed of their complete exhausts almost 2 years ago. Cost about $10k to repair each truck as they cut all the harnesses and who knows what other damage they did under there. We would have just finished the delete and reprogram the computers but they were leases and about to be returned.
