My idea for passenger work station

I thought I'd post this to throw out what my wife and I came up with. It was the best we could come up with for us.

Hope it can inspire others if they are wanting to make a custom work station for their rig.

The black is a plastic material called Starboard. It's used in boating a lot. Pretty expensive and a little different to work with compared to wood, but it turned out ok.

Doing it over I might have just done it all in wood.

No plans. Mainly just off the top of my head after measuring the space we had available.

The inner drawer dimensions are 12"x13"x2" high.

If I remember, the main desk top is 12"x19"x2.5" and hinged at the back connected to the drawer which is connected to the two anchor boxes via drawer slides.

The whole thing is bolted though the two anchor box bottoms into the dash.

The desk can slide toward my wife and lock in via a spring loaded pin which isn't shown on the far side. It can also tilt up to get to the drawer at any point in its slide position. The anchor boxes can store pens and stuff.
