Who dewinterized the motorhome? It sounds like they left the water heater bypassed.

Sounds like another dealer that failed to check out a new RV before delivering it. We don't have the Winegard system so I cannot offer any suggestions on that.

Things will get better.

Finally we tried to use our cook top and the propane would not work. It has been a total disaster. The rig has 1100 miles when we left home. Not a happy camper. We have minor stuff like rivets not set and trim coming off the walls. I am not a happy camper. Before we left the main faucet broke after I opened it up from a factory winterizing. Did not get the faucet in time so I had to buy one just to go on the trip. Maybe thay was a precursor for cold showers, microwave meals and no TV. seems like dejavu all over again. At same campsite 3 years ago our new Fleetwood Jamboree mechanically broke down. But when we got it back only to camp two days, at least we had a TV and hot showers. Forest River, I had hoped you were better than this. Frustrated and disappointed camper. We waited 7 months for this? SMH.
I feel your pain, especially a 2022 - my thoughts are if they charged you a pricetag for a brand new 2022, you paid for a fully functioning RV that should have passed QC.

I'd like to offer a few suggestions that may help - as NXR mentioned, sounds like the dealership likely left the bypass in place (which is odd because they would need to system check everything before delivery to customer - this includes the water system). With the Winegard, there is a small media box installed in the cabinet directly above the sink. You should have three modes that you can adjust (TV, AUX/SAT, and Cable). Slide the switch to TV and ensure the button above it is pressed for Antenna Power (Green light should be on). The propane may be off from the dealership (this may have occurred while driving through tunnels during transport). Check the propane compartment and ensure the valve is fully on.... if you are still having issues, you may need to purge air out of the system. Do you hear anything when you attempt to run gas through the stove?

Yeah had similar experience on our first trip out as well. Stove and oven wouldn't light, propane line kinked shutting off the flow, then we had a massive propane leak in the furnace that forced us to sleep elsewhere for a night. Water tank siphon out as we drive, ots always fun when your dry camping and you get to your destination only to find you at a 1/3 of a tankbof water for 4 days. The whole suspension issue is what has us most concerned, it's an ongoing battle. This has been a horrible experience from the start, from dealer to manufacturer, if bullshit was electricity Forestriver and DeMartini rv could keep all the lights on in California.
