I recently replaced the stock CRT TV in our 2003 Georgetown with a new 32" flat screen. It wasn't nearly a difficult as I anticipated. I used a mount that I bought from PPL
http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/t...n-tv-mount.htm which was a little pricey, but definitely well-made and simplified the installation.
First, I removed the old TV which was fairly easy except it took two of us to lower it to the floor! By removing the air vent at the front of the cabinet, I could get at the two (tiny) brackets that FR used to mount it.
Then I added a piece of 3/4" plywood to strengthen the cabinet base (glued and screwed). The MOR/ryde mount was then lag bolted in place. The mount comes with all the necessary hardware, and is adjustable for height and tilt. It also slides out to lock in position about 10" in front of the cabinet so you can access the mount and cables.
Here's a photo of the sliding mount attached to the LCD.
