I currently have a Coachman Mirada 2016. Nice unit but fell in love with Georetownxl 378 2017 and I liked the price. It has the tile floor and duel slide outs in licensing area which sold me. We pick it up Saturday can't wait. I have read a lot of good things about this unit any comments or input would be enjoyable. I am from South Carolina and we took our Coachman to California and back and enjoyed it but look forward to the mood open homme feeling of our new Georgetown. I hear they handle well and are pretty quiet. My wife told me yesterday I better be happy because were not doing this again. I guess she's referring to the fact we just got the other coach last October.

Welcome. We have a 2012 Georgetown XL 378TS and also love the large living space with the two slides.

The only thing I can offer you to do is make sure the dealer shows you everything.

Make sure you have two set of keys for everything including the round key for the hood and the step battery storage area.

You need to make sure that the dealer aired up the tires to 90 psi as per the wall label. Then drive it down the highway and see how it steers.
It should be difficult to keep straight down the road.
If it is hard you need a frontend alignment which Forest River will pay for if you contact the dealer within the first 30 days.
Everyone does this even if it is a little off.
If you have a Ford Commercial Truck dealership close by they will do it being it is a Ford Chassis.

You will have issues in the first 6 months so be aware and plan to get it back to the dealer a few times. Hope they are close by.

Good luck and ask away any questions you may have.

We have the 2013 378 and love it. It handles very very good. Straight as an arrow after the front end alignment and proper air pressure. We have carpet over the dog house and floor under the two front chairs and tile through out the coach except in the bedroom. I believe the carpet keeps it quiet quit well.
We also love the floor plan and that's why we chose it.

Welcome from Southern Illinois.

Spell check is cool but when you also have auto-correct turned on, you have a nightmare using any "slang" spelling to convey a comment.

It is like an English teachers revenge. LOL...

Welcome from Alaska, ours is a 2014 and we really like the floor plan. We have added solar panels so we can do more boon docking. I'm sure you will enjoy your rig, but make sure to get your front end checked.
