Smile o8 Georgetown elec step changeout

Just finished replacing old worn and damaged original coach steps with a new Kwikee set. No problems but if anyone is planning on doing this I have a few tips that I learned from the experience.....Bob

Good fix for your situation, however, by very careful if you’re parking near a curb on the street. You may not have the proper clearance as opposed to a campsite which has no obstacle.

I have never had problem at any camp ground but have hit a curb or two but it has a safety if it hits anything it will stop there and reset when started up of coach motor all is well LOL

This sounds like it might be a good idea for us. What part number did you order?

This is what the Georgetown's comes with. You said you ordered and installed a 4 step electric steps and that's the number I am interested in.

OK just looked again my Georgetown only had 2 steps I guess when I put on the 3 step it only has 3 to 4 inches of clearance under bottom of last step so if you are right you can't have much difference then that ?
