Onan Generator DIRTY Power

I have plenty of experience with generators (as I actually manufacture some) and know of their inherent lousy dirty output , but having used my rv to power (partially) my home, the true dirty nature was more than obvious. LED lights with lower "intensity", strobe effects, ... and the ups backups turning on and off (reacting to voltage, frequency, ....). Eventually, I just removed them all together. Again, I knew/wasn't expecting Clean FPL power, but I'd only rate it a 3 or 4 out of 10. It did what I needed for 31 hours, but .....I was still not expecting it to be as bad as it is. For AC, microwave, 120 Vac outlets, ... on an RV, I guess it'll do.

Have you considered having the generator and regulator tuned up maybe that is causing some of the problem. JMHO

IMHO, did you read my original post? I am a manufacturer! Gen is "fine", it is that all gens have dirty power (except the ones I manufacture) due to their poor construction. My post was just to relay just how dirty the ONANs are which I already knew, just surprised how dirty they actually are. I never had done an actual analysis of them until now.
