Talking OOPS..Just Sharing

Hey All,
Picked up our MH with the newly installed hitch and our Chevy HHR in tow. Was a little nervous as pulling a toad was a first for us. When we arrived to the dealer our rig was covered with snow and weather was still a factor. I needed to get fuel first which proved to be an adventure in itself. I pulled into a small truck stop type station very carefully with the tailgating toad. Went right between the tight pumps and under the awning and all was good...but oops "diesel only"..geez.. so I pulled out and came back around and got lined up again" BUT OOPS..NO WAY".. the fuel tank was on the drivers side (second time ever getting fuel in our MH).. S#*@ I had to pull back out and make a large loop back to the the pumps. YEAH I must have been a sight as the wife just set back in the distance in a follow car and I could see her laughing and rightfully so......So after 2.5 hours later of pouring rain and traffic, we arrived home. Actually after that the trip home went fine and the toad pulled with no problem. I was able to disconect all the hitch assembly easily and get all put away in the rain...

We now own the Falcon All Terrain tow hitch, with the SMI Brake System and looking forward to smoother trips to come..hehehe

Wishing you all great adventures,
Barney

Congrats on the new coach and glad all ended well.

That's kind of what makes it all fun though, isn't it?

Good luck and happy camping!
