On the 2013 335DS has anyone changed the aerial to something else. I can’t get to receive stations have to use rabbit ears on dash.

Have you pushed the small button next to the antenna connection on the plate? You should see a LED light either green or red next to the button. Yours may not be the same as the picture below, but it will be similar.

That should do it for the OP. Antenna is useless with out the "boost" or amplifier on.

Mine has the King rotational antenna that doesn’t raise up and it sucks.

I bought one of these, but haven’t tried it yet.... I shall see.


I plan on playing with it this weekend.

Donlock, don't take replies offensively, no one said you were a first timer. We were just trying to help.

If you look at the picture of the wallplate I posted you will see it is not installed. That is my wallplate. It has a bad solder joint somewhere in the circuit. It works fine when laying out on the cabinet, when installed in the wall, it doesn't work at all. At the moment I am using a 75 mile range antenna that doesn't need an amplifier on top of a 35' tower. Your's may have the same problem.
