Outside TV removal

I have a 2018 Georgetown 30x3. I want to change the outside tv to a smart tv but can’t remove the tv.

Maybe the dumb TV is offended and doesn’t want to be removed.
Maybe it’s already a smart TV.

I suspect the screws are accessed from inside the motorhome. On my FR3 the TV is behind the sofa. I did unplug my outside TV so it did not use my inverter power. At the time I had a camera behind the TV & did not see a latch or release.

TV

Hello, if the TV is mounted like other Georgetown's, you should be able to lift it up and out. The TV has round stud mounts that fit into a keyhole like mounts on the RV. Hope this helps

I don't have a motorhome, but this same logic may apply to your tv. On the interior TV of my salem, there is the typical generic rv mount. Its bracket is kind of in the shape of a V and the tv slips in and out of it (there is a bracket on tv also) so you can remove it from the interior and place it on the same style bracket on the exterior.

When I first got the trailer, for the life of me I could not figure out how to lift it off the bracket. It was like the TV was fixed somehow. I knew this wasn't the case because I had removed it during the PDI, but how it worked was not explained to me.

There is a small piece of metal that swivels around on the top of the bracket. I can't recall if its on the TV side or the wall side ( I think tv), but its job is to keep the tv from coming out of that wall bracket whilst going down the road.
So you have to swivel it out of the way and then the TV slides up off the bracket.

It looks like this but I don't see the locking mechanism which must be on the wall plate itself. Its just a piece of metal that sits over the top of one corner of the V so the other bracket can't move up and out past it.
