PArts from Forest River

I had the misfortune of hooking against a pole as I was existing a gas station. I filed a claim, and was told by the local Rv dealer that two storage bay doors and stairs would have to be replaced. They put in the order to Forest River over a month ago and still has not receivedthe doors. They finally gave me a number they use to order the parts and I will call them tomorrow. My question has anyone ever had to order something from them, and how long did it take to get parts. My Georgetown is 2007 so might have some merit to why it taking longer, but a month?

Call Forest River. You may have better luck than the dealer, or at least get a straight answer. It will also answer the question about which one is stalling the repair progress. Forest River has been great to me in my limited conversations with them. And my parts have been shipped pronto, unless they were ordering from a supplier, but even then they gave me a time table and honored it.

I have ordered parts from Forest River twice - a set of 3" lifts for the trailer and a pair of rock guard arms. Both times they were helpful and courteous and the delivery, while not lightning fast, was reasonable - under 2 weeks IIRC.
