Problem with CHF Help!!!
So I did the CHF on 2017 31b3, handles great, problem I have is when I parked it was slightly downhill. By no means steep, but when I went to auto level it, it had both front tires of the ground. I look under and notice the sway bar is tight and holding the front axle up. I manually leveled it so it didn't have the front tires of the ground. I don't always want to have to do this, this time I could get it level or close but if it was any steeper I probably wouldn't of been able to.
Question I have is do they make longer links so it gets the sway bar back to the stock angle or I saw somebody made brackets to move links closer to bar. I don't want to have problems I was thinking if I could do longer links it would give me more play in the front end. I can't measure the stock one right now because Im in the Northeast and just got hammered with about a foot of snow.
Thank you all!!

Personally, I have been against this mod. IMHO, the only reason is the first letter. One needs to spend the correct $ to fix the inherent problems with this design or else problems will happen. This is not the place to save pennies or dollars will follow. A full remedy, that should be standard costs full retail with installation is under $3K. If it was std, probably 1500-2000. Personally well worth it and a must in my opinion.

Georgetown front tires off the ground when leveled is not a big deal and causes no issues. Mine come off at several locations where the site is not level. I have the CHF using the existing links. There are those that really get excited when it happens but it's not detrimental and the only restriction in the manual is to not have all the tires off the ground. I only allow the front tires to elevate off the ground. The CHF does quiet down the sway but the ride in my GT378 does not justify the expense of some of the extremes some individuals go to trying to get something that is unachievable with the Ford F53 chassis. However; they will try and justify what they have spent no matter what.

After I did my Mirada I noticed the same problem. Even though it is not a problem holding the wheels off the ground I didn't like it. It just seemed to put the sway bar at an odd angle and I am a camphost so when I park somewhere it's usually foe many months at a time.
I replaced the endlinks with these:
Hellwig 7962 11-14" Adjustable Endlinks
I got them from Amazon and adjusted them so that the sway bar was back to it's normal position.
These are the straight links, if your's are curved the it will be a different number, if they make them.

Hellwig sells adjustable length links. I purchased them but actually never used them because I decided to install Hellwig front and rear stabilizer bars instead. I also added a rear trac bar. Would do it again, drives great.

I am going to copy and paste some info previously posted in 2016 when I was also looking for a solution to get the sway bar level after doing the chf. I installed these bds links suggested and have put an additional 17,000 miles on my 2013 378 after they were installed and have had no problems and am very happy with them. I will attempt to post pictures that was sent to me before I installed mine in this. See below. Hope this helps.
Question on CHF for 24k f53 chasis
Installed the links today and they work fine. Not an exact offset, but I was able to use washers as spacers on the upper frame bracket and everything lines up well. Two washers on the upper hole and one washer on the lower hole (top link bushing). Lowers the SB end about an inch. Using the jacks on the coach and raising enough to lift wheels off the ground and the SB does not hit the springs. First pic is original link, second BDS Link. Part number for BDS links is 123004

Yes the 2nd picture posted is pictures of the chf with longer bds links to keep the sway bar level when doing the chf. This will prevent premature lifting of front axle while leveling because the sway bar may come into contact with front leaf springs when leveling after doing chf without the longer links.

CHF Brackets
StevieFx4:
If you have not already done so, I suggest to look at the irv2.com forums website. Do a search for CHF and look for a "poster" named Tejay, He knows quite a bit about the CHF and makes a popular bracket and a good price I am told.

I bought a couple of TeJay's plates and they work perfectly.
They also allow me to make adjustable tightness for the sway bar. So if I want a tighter sway bar or a lesser tightness it is easy to do. I highly recommend them. 4 different adjustments for your size chassis.
My chassis is a 24,000# 2013 378 XL.
