Protecting the hydraulic pump/valve system

Just purchased a 35' 2014 Georgetown and during the walk through at the dealer I was surprised how exposed the Auto Leveling System Hydraulic Pump/valve system was.

Living in Western NY where the salt can rust, rust, I was wondering if anyone had taken steps to enclose/shield what must be rather expensive items.

Yep...it rusts quickly (western NY as well.) Interesting that some of the later units seem to have a plastic enclosure, but I have never looked into it. Right now I need to look into some serious rust removal.

When I had mine installed, I had them put all the controls in an empty compartment after they told me it all got mounted to the frame!
