Question regarding Tranny on 2004 359ts

I read a lot about going downhill and using tow haul mode in conjunction with the cruise control to help maintain a safe speed. My MH does not have a tow haul mode but does have a OD lock out (shut off). My question is does this older coach have the ability to use the cruise control to hold the speed to say 55 going downhill if you set it for that or is that only a perk of having the tow haul mode. Would I just have to manually downshift the trans to a lower gear (I have 3 choices, low, second or drive). I retire in a few months and have not had the motorhome on any mountain passes yet and since I am a planner, my mind needs to know! Thanks!
