I was trying to lock outside tv on our 2017 georgetown gt5 31r. Pit key in and turned and whole lockset came out. Tried to put back but will not stay . Does anyone have suggestions?

These types of twist latches and locks are normally held on by a washer and large nut from the inside. (I'm not home this week or I'd put up a pic of one on my unit.) Open the door and see if the parts fell off into the compartment. These commonly loosen up as the compartment doors are easily compressed around the mounting holes when the nuts are tightened.
The removal of the lock set like shown is a standard feature of the lock set. But inorder to do this there is a special blue key that will allow you to change the lock set. Bottom line this should not happen with a standard type black key.

Oh wow, yeah - there's something funky going on with your lock. It shouldn't do that with your regular key. If your dealer is close, give them a call, they should fix it.
