Recall notice

Just got a recall notice on our 2009 378ts for the aluminum trim piece located just under the main slide. Notice says due to improper fastening procedures it could come loose and fall off.

Don't know what models were effected but if you have a newer Georgetown you might want to look into it.

Just a heads up.

How did you get the notice? Did it come from Forest River or the dealership?

Thanks, I haven't received one but I'll email Mike Burns @ FR to see if it includes 2007 Georgetown 370s.

Yes, it does include the 2007 Models. I have an appointment for next Tuesday to have it fixed. I was told it takes about an hour to do.
Well I'm not going camping yet but at least I'm going for a drive!!

I had the same issue with my TT. the skirt attached to the slide didn`t have any reinforcement to keep it stable on the highway. I ended up installing a couple of brackets to secure it. why no recall on that? if I didn`t fix it it would have came off long ago!

Just had my recall issue taken care of. It took all of 10 minutes to do. Basically technician added 8 or 9 Tek Screws up through the trim piece under the Main Slide-out into the frame. Originally only had 3 screws in it.
