In my case it's right at the steering column close to the floor but my unit is a 2007, but should be in the same general area.

OBD = On-board Diagnostics - the tool allows you to check codes in the computer if say the check engine light is on or brake light is on the dash

Commonly known as a "Code Reader"
I still can't find the plug in. It is definitely not around the steering column. I think I have a coil pack down on my V10, the engine is missing at around 2000 RPM's.

Sorry but what I thought was the port is not . There's a small black box to the right of my steering column with a cap that I can't get off. I doubt it would have a cover but I can't find it either.

Ok now it's personal. I forced my fat butt down there and guess what I found. The port is on the right side of the steering column attached to a bracket. It's about knee height and just under the dash. It has a black cap over it that reads "CONNECTOR" there's a blue outline behind it.
I popped off the cap and there it is .
So I hope this solves the mystery for everyone. I need a beer!!!!!

Plug was in the same place, with the same cap on it, on my 2008 350DS. However I had to remove a kick panel at knee height just under the steering steering wheel to get access to it.
I had the service engine soon light come on. Code reader says PO132 & PO152; O2 Sensor Circuit High Voltage Bank 1 Sensor 1 & Bank 2 Sensor 2.
Service manual says that the only thing that will cause this is a short to positive voltage in the cable. Since it's happening on both it would have to be higher up in the cable.
I examined both upstream O2 sensors and wiring. No obvious damage anywhere.
So I cleared it in hopes that it was a fluke. Wish me luck.

OBDII Connector location
Looks like Forrest River needs to keep up with the Ford TSBs. That is a shipping location and the motorhome builder is supposed to move it . Check out https://www.fleet.ford.com/truckbbas/non-html/Q-178.pdf

On the new coaches, they relocated it to the exact spot where you foot or knee hits it every time you get in or out of the driver's seat.
I knocked the cover (and some skin) off several times before I "re-relocated" it up under the dash.
