Recommendations for a new head unit.

I just purchased a 2008 Georgetown SE TS350, and I hate the factory head unit. I'm looking for a replacement and I'm leaning towards an Android unit like the Joying 10.1 (https://www.joyingauto.com/single-din-car-radio/10-1-inch-single-din.html) just so I can run Sygic or CoPilot. Are there any other options I should consider?

Are you sure it only has a single din stereo in it and not a double din?

I believe the factory head unit is about a1 1/2 din...

I would find out because a double din is cheaper than a single din like your looking at.

I personally would stick to name brands JVC Alpine, etc.

This one has so many more features. The DVD player can be connected to the TV or TVs plus backup camera and other goodies.

Just curious what you found out or decided on.

I used a Pioneer double din in our 12 350TS. It would’ve fit in the factory dash I would’ve just needed to open up the dash to the double sun size. The factory radio is a 1 1/2 din.
But I redesigned my dash to make it more user friendly!

I've seen your thread about your console. I like the finished product, but that's a bit much for me right now.

My goal is to get a single solution for driving entertainment and navigation. I already have a Kenwood DNX577S in my Avalanche and would go with that, if it offered mapping setup for the RV. So far, none of the navigation apps that I've found that do support RV's also support Android Auto (Co-Pilot, Sygic and a couple of others), which is pushing me towards a full Android head unit, where I can run one of those apps.

Yes. It was a full winter project. I did try the CoPilot app but after routing me down some very very questionable roads even with my MHs sizes and weights, I stopped using it. I will be going to a stand alone Garmin RV GPS. But for areas where I know there aren’t many if any MH restrictions I use apple car play with Apple Maps. I do like it integrated into the radio, but I want a bit better and MH friendly option!
