First off, your remodel job looks awesome. Congratulations on a job well done, take a bow!!
I’m with NXR, especially since the job was done by someone who happens to be “anal”.
Probably multiple times better than the original build. As for what to do about the other wall, I think you have two options. First you can rip into the wall like you did the first one and beef it up since you already know what to do. Or, second, you can run it and keep an eye on it. If it fails, you know how to fix it. If it doesn’t fail, you’ve saved yourselves time and money. The main drawback to option two is if it fails at an inconvenient time, but then again, how drastic was the first walls failure? If it is still runnable, then you can time when you do the repair. A lot will depend on how often you go camping, how far you go, how long you will keep it, etc.
As for telling a potential buyer about the repairs you’ve already done, I think your heart already knows the answer to that one. If selling to an individual, I try to go by the old fashion Golden Rule, or as a very wise man told me many years ago, “Let your conscious be your guide”. Of course, if you happen to have photos of the repair, I think between those and the quality of the other work you two have done on your rig, that will speak volumes to the new buyers.
By the way, these photos you posted prove that having a DH who’s “anal” can be a good thing! There’s a number of us on the forums you know.
It’ll be interesting to see what you two decide to do.
