Replace radio

We have a 2013 Georgetown 389XL, has anyone change there dash radio/cd/navigation system, we have a VX401 Clarion which the navigation quite working, Forest River cannot help us. I’m looking to replace this unit with another unit like it: I’m not sure what I can get to install and still have the same electrical plugs to plug in when I pull the unit out. I hope someone can help me with a other unit they installed. Thanks in advance. Dutch

I just went with a JVC that had Apple CarPlay and android auto. Love the functionality and ease of CarPlay.

Also save $600

Mike did you have to change the wiring from the original radio hookup?

No sorry, but they did follow industry standard colours so you can always use that as a reference.

There are relatively few wires to hookup and it's a straightforward job. Be sure to check that the yellow wire is continuous power by turning of the ignition and checking it for power. I can't remember if my yellow was continuous or switched.

Thats the only non-standard wiring I remember. I you need help or have a question I would be happy to help you over the phone.
