Our last three RV's -- two TT's and a Class A -- all had queens.

We MUST have a king, so, after redoing the bedroom(s) we got custom mattresses from these guys in SW Missouri.

Pricey, but best sleep EVER. Got two of them in our house.

YMMV

Hello. We did the same. Just replaced with a Regular Queen size Mattress. It's snug but we're happy with it.

Mombez, we bought a comforter and short queen sheet set from Camping World. Although they fit just fine, they are very thin. So thin that it wouldn't surprise me to find a tear in them. One of my worst purchases for our RV to date. Hope this helps. Safe travels & happy camping!!

We used a 14” memory foam mattress from Costco that I had on hand. Since it was just foam, I trimmed off ~6” from the end to make it fit in our 26DJSE. Best mattress I have ever purchased.

This one doesn’t, no. Most comfortable sleeping I have ever had.

They should, Polyurethane open or closed cell should retain heat. The denser the cells the more heat they generally will retain as they use that heat to mold to you (memory foam). The better foams like plant based foams or latex will not retain the heat like regular poly foam (cheap) will. Latex is by far the best foam you can buy but it will be expensive and heavy for an RV. As far as so called "cool-Gel" foam, testing by Consumer Reports shows little difference vs regular foams.

We have an 05’ Georgetown 375.
We tossed the mattress. Verified we had room with the slide out retracted an lengthened the floor frame to support a normal queen mattress. Reinforced the center of our bed riser due to a sag in the middle. That solved or for us!

We bought a relatively inexpensive 12" thick 'bed in a box' (compressed). Sleeps great. I expect it to serve us well for many years, but then we are occasional campers.....not 365 a year.

We use air mattresses. I have them on top of the camper mattress.
You'd have to be really knocked out to sleep on a camper's mattress! So uncomfortable.

AirMatress

Sound Asleep Air Mattress brand purchased thru Amazon. They have a camping size.
I use the tall one with built in pump at home...it's awesome sleep..and hundreds less than the sleep number bed that I've had in the past.
