Residential fridges in RVs

Would appreciate any input into the pros and cons of residential fridges in RVs.

If you plan to always be where you have shore power or can run your generator, a residential fridge cools faster and is more convenient.
If you plan to spend time off the grid then you will need to run the generator or have a significant solar set up and batteries. You need to make the trade off based on your style of use.
