Revisiting an old topic. Sway bar or trac bar?

My previous mh was so tough to handle on the road that I installed a steering stabilizer, upgraded rear sway bar and added a trac bar.
Now have a 2017 369xl with steering stabilizer and did the chf a couple of years ago. Handles reasonably well, but in strong winds it’s a bear.
Want to avoid doing both since chf did make a noticeable improvement.
Question is upgrade sway bar or go with trac bar?
Which will give me the bigger improvement for my the money?

For steering and handling (frontend) I found proper infated tires and alignment is the 1st things to check. Unusual front tire wear is a giveaway of alignment issues.
I kept the Ford installed sway bar but did do the cheap handling fix.
I also added SteerSafe system that basically helps keet the steerting tires staright ahead with less gripping of the steering wheel. It also helps keep you running straight if you had a front tire blowout.
It's basically a pivot system (mechanical) that is maintained by 2 strong springs on each tire.
I had them installed many years ago and have maintained its purpose for me.
See tock pictures of install and the last one is now after 7 to 8 years of service and over 70,000 miles.

We had a Tiger Trak bar from Ultra RV installed and I don't have the tail wag now - that was huge. (We also have the Safe-T Plus steering stabilizer, but that improvement was less noticeable.) Not sure what your specific handling issue is, but I didn't upgrade the sway bar and don't plan to - my symptom was wagging after passing or being passed or in side wind. Our unit was 10 years old and 62,000 miles so I went ahead and replaced the shocks with Koni shocks as well. The unit handles very well now, but I'm thinking the trac bar was the biggest bang for the buck.

Yes the Blue OX Tiger Trak was my first big add on years ago to stop the tail wag.

I went with the Blue Ox TruCenter Steering Control. I had to remount the bracket above the tie-rod because it bottomed out in road construction last month.

I love my Blue Ox TruCenter. Cost more but it is worth it .

I carry a motorcycle on the rear often on mountain roads. Had some sway due to the turns and all the extra weight on the back, so installed a trac bar. Made a nice difference, barely any sway now even on twisty mountain roads with 800 pounds on the rear.
