Shower Gap - Check It !!!

By now, you guys know that I have RV OCD. Every time I take a shower I make sure the vent is open to avoid heavy concentrations of humidity in the bathroom. I just took a shower 5 minutes ago. DW got me one of those soap plastic holders with a lid and didn't have a place to put it in. I ended up storing it on the upper right corner of the shower. When I went to pick it up I noticed a gap. It's hard to tell, but I'd guess about 1/8" gap on the right hand side of the shower about 1 foot long. The rest of it is flush against the wall and sealed with silicone.

I will figure out a way to seal it. Check yours! You don't want crap between the shower and the wall.

Really FR, Really?

Checked mine and it is flush. But, no silicone. Will need to take care of that. BTW, I also open the vent a little for the same reason.

I had a bigger gap, im assuming it separated due to being parked on somewhat uneven pad. All i did was re silicone it. No biggie. I also run my fan when taking showers

I'll post a picture when we get home in a couple of days. Can't capture it with the camera in my phone.

But keep in mind these things (TT) flex like crazy when on the road or parked unevenly. They're like cardboard boxes.

Oh no doubt. Bottom line is that they forgot to fill the gap with silicone.

Pan or not, moisture between the walls will eventually become mold. I need to seal it all up. I looked all around and there is no silicone at all on both top edges.

Got some water there between the shower and the vanity right where the piping is. Checked everywhere and the corner is the only place where it could have leaked right at the caulking. Any idea what to use? Last year i used bath and kitchen silicone, it lasted a year and now its starting to unstick.
I think i heard someone use shower guards????

Get a friend that is slightly larger than you are. Have him/her stand in the shower (clothed..water off) then crawl around him/her while you caulk the gaps in the stall that your friend creates.

Several varieties -Household, Automotive, Plumbing, etc - all seem the same to me. Originally "Shoe Goo" glue for sports shoe repair.
