SiriusXM radio
Anyone know how to get the radio Id number? Want to sign up for satellite radio but don’t seem to find a way to get the radio Id to show up on the screen. I have a 36d7 2022.

Post the model of the radio. There is so many different ones used. But usually it is in the settings under info.

One of those Sony head units with the radio and Sirius xm and phone and rear camera features all built into one. I have gone they every setting and no radio Id.

When you select xm radio does it let you listen to the one channel? While xm radio is playing go to settings and then see if it gives you radio info

You may need to buy the xm module for your radio. It is no longer built into units.

XM Radio
If you already have a XM radio subscription in another vehicle you own, you can Bluetooth from the app on your cell phone. Highly recommend having a unlimited data plan. We've been using it for awhile. Main drawback is you need good cell reception unlike with true XM you can get reception everywhere.

You sir are a genius. I do have a subscription on my car radio, I’m headed over to App Store to get the Sirius app. Funny but I just paired Bluetooth 10 minutes ago.

If you can't access the XM Preview Channel (CH 1), it leads me to believe that your radio is not equipped with a SirusXM Connect Tuner. If it is, "SXM" will appear in your source menu. My Sony head said it was SirusXM Ready and I had to connect the OEM SiriusXM tuner to the radio. Once I did that the SiriusXM icon appeared on the touch screen as a selection.

Also one time for about 2 seconds the SiriusXM channel screen showed up then it flipped to check tuner.

I guess the question is whether you radio is equipped with a XM Tuner? Could be the radio is equipped with SiriusXM Connect software that is attempting to connect with a tuner it can't find. If you can't tune in the Preview Channel then there is no signal. Do you have a SiriusXM Antenna?

Just an FYI Sirius has a special for new/ canceled subscriptions $5 month for 12 months.
Told me I couldn't have it because I'm an existing customer, so I canceled, they gave me the price before the phone call ended.

This is correct! The Sony Radio is only prepped for XM and you need to buy an additional module as stated above. Hope this helps
