Slide Uneven

I have a Georgetown GT3. When the main slide is in the back portion isn't in as far as the front portion. Any suggestions on how to even them out?

Having one side or the other sightly closer or farther is not unusual what you want to see is the seal gasket compressed at least 50% and actually sealing the opening. How much difference are you talking about.

To give you a more precise advice, unless that the folks here have the same exact model of your coach, otherwise, we need to know more information about your slide mechanism and how much of the offset (uneven) that you currently have.

Example, some model may have the track and pinion system from LCI, the problem may be caused by the synchronization of the motors since it may involve with 4 different motors, two on the top and two on the bottom on a certain model. With this types of system, you MUST NOT stop the slide motion whether slide out or slide in at the middle of the way. You MUST complete the cycle of in or out, and once the slide was in or out completely, you must hold the button for the additional 3 seconds to ensure the motors are completely synched. If one did not follow this rule, he will have the problem with the slide retract unevenly.

If one has this problem, he has to re-synch the motors by following the LCI instruction manual for proper alignment procedure.

Good luck.

Thanks, I'll try that re-sync method.
