Are your jacks down some have a safety to prevent slides from being moved unexpectedly ( is that even a word) anyway a friends MH is like that Just a thought since all three not working also could be a fuse that needs reset but not really sure just something to check

Slides will not operate if the ignition key is on.

thanks for the input. it turned out there was air in the hydraulics. we just held the slide buttons in approx 1 minute and they closed. fyi if this happens to anyone else.

Air in Hydraulics

Thanks for posting your solution. I always assumed the hydraulic system was closed other than for excess fluid which would be forced out of the reservoir. How did you diagnose and how does the hydro system expel air? I'm curious cause my hydro motor failed when I bought my 391 and since then one of the slides dragged at one end. So I'm sensitive to this problem area.

I had a small leak on my driver's side front leveler. I disconnected the hoses and was able to take the leveler apart with a pipe wrench, added teflon tape to the threaded top and reassembled. I actually was able to tighten the shaft another half turn more than the original from Lippert. The air that ended up in the system was expelled by cycling the levelers about 4 times. No problems since.

Hello Lawfive, we called the dealer where we purchased it and they said to just hold the button in....and it worked. Don't understand the technical end of it though.
