Please add some details about what you're talking about. "sticking" and "alignment issues" are not specific enough for anyone to give you solid advice. That being said, perhaps this may help.

My canned response on this:

Syncing the motors may help. To keep the SlimRack slide motors in sync perform this procedure periodically. This process actually automatically resets the "stops" that tell the SlimRack system where "fully in" and "fully out" are:

Once the slide is fully out or fully in, release that button and then press and hold the same button again. If the motors are in sync you'll hear a "whir" and then a "click" briefly from each motor (one on each side of each slide) and you'll see the slide barely move. Once you hear the click from each motor release the button. Then do it one more time.

This needs done with the slide fully in AND with the slide fully out but it does not matter which one you do first. Don't worry, you cannot push the slide through the wall.

When my motors are starting to get out of sync the "whir" will last longer on one side and sometimes I'll hear a "whine" instead so I just keep the button pushed. Once you hear the "click" from each motor they're in sync.

If you do not hear the "click" after about five or so seconds and there is no noise or movement from the slide you can release the button. The "click" is not very loud and you probably missed it.

What does "periodically" mean? There is no harm in doing it every few slide operations. Just be certain to do it often enough that you don't see any problems like a crooked slide.

We have had the motors synced already. Its back to not going out evenly. On large slide while going out you have to push it out on back end. Something is stopping it from sliding freely

Same on bedroom slide, something is wrong on front end and it doesnt slide freely.

Look at the bottom of the slides when extended to see if there is any damage from the rollers.

You're not trying to run the slides on just batteries, are you? If so, that is a really bad idea. Always be plugged in or have the generator running.

Are the sides of the slides clean and feel smooth (not gritty)? If they are dirty, which often cannot be seen but can be felt by hand, the seals will drag and cause bad noises and slower operation. I run a Swiffer mop on our slide sides if we've been parked for a while to remove that stuff. I also keep my slide sides well-waxed.

When was the last time you cleaned the wiper seals, inside ones and outside ones, and applied a silicone or other seal spray? If they are dirty they can cause a surprisingly large amount of drag as well. Those can be cleaned with a damp paper towel on both sides of each seal.

slimrack

No always running or land power or generator, we keep unit clean. On the brighter side I am glad there isn't a lot of people responding with the same issue. We just love our home away from home
At first I thought maybe the slide and rv rubber spray the dealer put on might of made it worse. To me, its like the slimrack is bent now. It will be fixed in Oct and we look forward to updating on the resolve.

The slimracks rack is only attached on the ends and it can bend. When my slide is out, the upper racks are in tension, looking straight, and the lower ones are in compression, with a slight bow in them. The top of the slide box is trying to tip out, normal, just like a big dresser drawer.

My side slide doesn't travel evenly, the more distant end is always lagging. It may be due to the lengh of the tiny wires from the switch to that motor, at least double the lenght. It's been working, so I haven't really looked to deep into it.

Thanks for the explanation. Our first trip was florida and can count on one hand how many times slide went out.
Then it was parked in yard with slides out for a month. This is when issue occured, I was taking it to have oil changed and when I went to put them in both seemed to jam. Bedroom slide was on front , livingroom slide at the back. We took it to a dealership and they synced motors, sprayed the rubbers and that didnt fix it. Then the problem seemed to get worse while on our 5 wk trip. When putting slide out we have to help the ends that are having troubles.
Fingers crossed problem is fixed for good 😊

If you are not routinely syncing the motors that may be part of your problem. There is no reason to pay someone to do that.

What NXR said. When I posted a similar issue, I did what he suggested. That did the trick for my RV.

Have you used dry lube on the SlimRack? I had some new noises when moving the slide in and out and the dry lube did the trick.

NXR,

Can you sync the motors too much?

I basically sync them each time I move them out and then again when I move them back in. Takes no time to do. But I always wonder if I'm doing it too much.

Your thoughts?

Then that could be part of the problem. Thank you!
