squeak in floor

The kitchen area has a squeek that is about 2 ft wide. How do I get rid of it without putting some screws thru the lino floor?

Moved thread from the General Tech and Repair section to the Georgetown sub-forum for better help from other Georgetown owners and possible factory support. Also since the OP's questions are specific to a Georgetown product.

I would call our service at 574-206-7600 and ask for Georgetown service. They might be able to give you some ideas on how to fix. Hope this helps? Safe travels

I called and was told the best way to rid the squeek is to screw the floor down. Patch over with fix all and relay the floor with new lino or tile. Was hoping for an easier fix as flooring is not my forte'. Well, it is what it is.

Have never had an RV that didn't have a squeak in the floor at some point. Sometimes the squeak will go away, and other times it moves. I did put in some screws while chasing a squeak in one unit. Unfortunately, the squeak just moved.

Now I just live with them

Maybe try a shim between the floor and truss from underneath? Just a thought?
