Thermostat
I have a 2017 335DS. I cannot for the life of me regulate the thermostat. I put a good thermometer next to thermostat. Sometimes the thermostat needs to be set at 3 to 4 degrees higher and sometimes the same. It is really wonky! Are they all like this? The bedroom is always colder and if I turn up that thermostat it won’t go on unless I turn up the main one. Then it gets too hot in main area. I should be able to just put it on say 72 degrees or whatever and just leave it there, right?

One thing to check is the hole that the thermostat wire comes thru. If air is moving thru the hole, it will impact how the thermostat reads. Stuffing the hole with enough insulation to minimize air movement often improves the situation. I had this kind of problem in my S&B house...

You don't say what type of thermostat you have. Digital or analog? Many of the anolog ones are cheap pieces of junk with a wide temperature variance as you state. Many posts in the forum about many of us who have swapped out the cheap factory installed ones for a higher end digital with a 1 degree variance...does a much better job. It's a very simple swap. I have done it to our last 2 trailers, one of the best modifications we did.

This one was a direct replacement for the analog thermostat in my trailer.

The thermostats are available from many suppliers. There are folks who have replaced with standard home style thermostats (Honeywell, etc, from Lowes, HD, etc). Note that those usually don't support the two speed fan. To get past that people have added an additional switch. A forum search will find examples.

'appreciate the link. Amazing, RV manufacturers saving pennies and costing us $$ for the correct item!

Ditto to what's been said so far. Ours in our 378 are junk. The living room thermostat is right above the door stairway. Of course it is colder there than the rest of the living room. Have to set it at 60 to keep it at 68. then sometimes it sticks on and never shuts off. I can reduce the temp to the lowest and still will not shut off so I turn it off and then back on. Have to recycle it about every 3-4 days like that. Same with the one in the bedroom but not as far off temp wise. We had the same problem with our Cardinal fiver so I just replaced it with a Honeywell digital from WalMart for $22. Like someone else said, they don't support two speeds so you can either add a switch or connect the High speed wire. How many use the low speed anyway. We are going to replace both of ours in the MH.
