Tighten bunk bed bolts

Have a 36d7 and all of a sudden the bed started acting weird when going down. Found out many of the support bolts were coming loose which interfered with the lowering of the bed.
Just a heads up to be sure they are tightened.

Merry Christmas to everyone.

I'm sure owners will be adding this to their maintenance list.

Merry Christmas, Jimbo!

My over the Cab Bunk Bed rattled loose, the bolts fell out and the support jammed up so I had to remake the support since I noticed that when it went up and down the bracket would flex.

Here was my fix to help the flex

Getting a little reengineering

Done on the shades next to the bunk bed . They are taking out the flimsy trim board piece that holds up the shades and replacing it with real wood and bolting the board in place. It requires taking down the trim around the shades (about 6 hours work) BUT no more falling down shades which is extremely common in the GT7 models.
Getting new maintenance free batteries (4) also.

PS Happy New Year everyone!!!

I’m not doing the work

Action RV in Conroe Texas is doing the work. Once I get the coach back I will tell you guys exactly how it was fixed.

If I would have done it I was going to pull out the flimsy trim piece that holds the shade. Then I was going to put a 1 inch thick piece of wood in place of the trim piece and simply put 3 inch long screws thru the trim and I believe it would have worked just fine but they want to take down all the trim so we will see how it comes out.
