Tire Pressure advise?
Checked my tire pressure on the 4 tires I could get to. They were all in the 50's. (recommend pressure was 82) I assume the dealer did not check them before I took procession. I have the wheel sim removal tool order from Amazon so I can get to the outside rear valve. That got me to thinking about a remote monitoring system. The TST systems seem to be getting the most press. Are there other less expensive systems that will preform OK? I am also debating on valve extension but do not want to introduce another failure point because of leakage. I plan on just removing the wheel cover to check pressure. I believe my stems are metal and not rubber.
Any suggestions on how to best handle this?

Tire Pressure advise?
Our 3051 has the wheel sims as well. Large flat blade screwdriver works well too working your way around on ours. Rubber mallet to get back in place.
Got the TST system. One of the reasons was the company being active here to the point of sending a PM to a member that was having an issue over a holiday and passed their cell number along so they could call and get it worked out.
That kind of customer service goes a long way in my book.
I also got braided flex extensions for the inner rears. They have the spring steel portion that clips into the wheel sim to hold in place. All valve stems are metal and this made it easier all the way around.
Took off the anti theft portion of the non flow thru TST and all fit nicely and worked well all of last year.
Bought the new color monitor and four more senders for the Toad we will be hooking up this year.
Just my thoughts - know others here have other systems they are happy with as well.

I love my TST sensors. Just drove 600 miles and could watch the tires go from 80 (what they are set for) to 92. Ambient temperature up 30 degree and road heat for the rest. Interesting to watch them heat up.

So would the sensors just install on my existing stems? I assume the flow throughs allow inflating and the nonsense require removal.....

I got the non flow-through type. Taking them off to add air is the same as taking off regular valve cap essentially. The flow through are a little bigger etc.
If you leave the anti theft section on the non flow thru you do need to use the supplied tool to remove. That section can be removed though if desired so they just screw on and off.

I have the non flow thru sensors. I don't have them sitting in front of me...how do you take the anti-theft part off?
Edit: saw this video:

You got it. Just the 3 screws (will need jeweler screwdriver set to do them).
Also on a couple of mine I had to put a little extra pressure holding the screwdriver in so it didn’t start stripping the screw head.
Other that that they all came off pretty easy.

I have the flow thru TST's. I also have the stainless extensions on the inner duals and the 130 degree extensions on the fronts and outer duals. I don't have to remove the wheel covers to check pressures, I just use the TST's. I have the monitor in hand when adding air to the tires so no separate guage is necessary. So far no problems with TST or extensions.

I was wondering about the extensions. Some folks mention that they leak. I think I am going to pick up some and install them. I have metal stems now but getting to them is a real pain...

I have a 4 sensor TMS and don’t mind unscrewing them to service the tire. Forest River recommends 90 psi on our 34 ft Georgetown. I have the tires set at 95 psi. Any suggestions on tire pressure for a softer ride?

I ordered a set off of amazon. Two trips so far and no leaks. I used pliers to get a good tight fit.

I have had valves extensions oon my rear wheel and they have never leaked. As for tire pressure, have the coach weighed and adjust the pressure according to tire manufactures recommendations. All coaches will be different by axle weight and tire size.

I have the TST system and works good. I used teflon tape on the valve stems when installing and no leaks. I had to replace couple of the sensors after the warranty ran out (the batteries cannot be changed) they were 20.00 and TST sent them right away. Customer service is good, a person actually answers the phone when you call.
The advice on the tire pressure is correct, the best way is to weigh each axle and adjust pressure accordingly. In the mean time 85 in the front and 90 in the rearcold is a good place to start. You will notice when u get a TPM system that the tires go up about 15 pounds when they get hot.

Surprised about no battery change capability... my TST flo-thru sensors has changeable batteries...
I made a help post about battery changing for TST
