I'm trading in my 2011 Suzuki and want to buy a 2014 Honda CR-V AWD
Can anyone tell me about flat towing a 2013 Honda CR-V AWD.

We have a 2012 Honda CRV we bought just for towing after doing alot of research on toads. Great vehicle all the way around. Very easy hook up for towing and simple procedures all you have to do first thing is run thru the gears (prnd123) then let it stand in neutral for 3 minitues and off you go! so far we have towed it a couple thousands miles and no problems. We hooked up the SMI braking system with it.

When towing a Honda, remember to go from D to Neutral Not Reverse to Neutral. I was told by a Honda mechanic that there is some issue created by going to N from R. Also, a friend of mine tows a CRV and pulls 2 fuses.

Not sure what all the changes are for the 2014 model CRV........2WD OR AWD from other years, but make sure to actually READ the owner's manual for details on "flat towing".

There have been changes made between model years of a number of vehicles over the years, so those that were flat towable may not be flat towable another year.
