Turn Off Residential Fridge
Is there any way to just turn off the residential refrigerator? Other than battery disconnect.

Sure, depending on which coach you have.
1) Go to reefer panel and set reefer control to "off" (it still draws very low current, like a TV that is off)
2) Turn off inverter panel remote (usually in the step well on GT)
3) Turn off the breaker if on shore power

We have the LG fridge. The instruction book says to turn it on, plug it in. I think it is safe to assume you turn it off by unplugging it. I found the plug and water shut off in the cabinet near the floor, across from the toilet. The wall for the cabinet is between the fridge and bathroom. Model 378.

I have a 369 and have the LG as well. Sounds like option 2, Turn off inverter is easiest. Thanks

Assuming that you have a normal Georgetown residential refrigerator installation, I can understand how this question can arise. You need to keep in mind how the inverter and shore power system interact.
When the refrigerator transfer switch sees the AC coming from the panel drop out, it will automatically switch to inverter power (if the inverter is turned on.) Shutting off the breaker will not seem to do anything, but in fact you will be running the reefer off of your batteries (with or without your converter running.) If you turn off the reefer on its own control panel (if you have one) that will work no matter what. Otherwise you have to turn it off in two places, the AC panel breaker and the inverter remote on/off switch.

Turning off both things then. It would be so much easier to just be able to turn it off, there is no way to just turn off fridge? There is No control panel with off switch.

Are you saying you have no control panel? Or are you saying you have a control panel, but no off setting?

It is a residential refrigerator, so you can select crushed or cubed ice, energy saving, and some other features but there is no on or off selection. Just like at home you could just unplug it. The plug is not easy to get to.

If I remember correctly, you have a 2017 369XL. On the residential fridge in our 2016 369XL there is an on/off selection hidden in those options. I just happened to stumble upon it.
But like everything else, things have a tendency to change in a year. I guess if your fridge was actually installed in a house, there would be no need to have an on/off control on the front.

Do you have a picture? I can change the temperature digitally, does it go down to off? There are two controls for temperature, freezer and fridge

This is not a great pic because I don't have access to it now. It was taken when we did the original walk through, But at least you can see what the controller looks like.

Sometimes the ON/OFF is inside on the upper header and sometimes one of the tactile switches on the outside has to be held depressed for a given time. Sometimes.

The model number is LFX21976ST. i was reading the manual and i guess you could put it in demo mode, this turns off cooling in the fridge and freezer. it also says for Store Use Only.

Definitely a different model than mine. Sorry.
Kind of ironic though, when you search the model number, the very first line in the description reads: If you have ever been frustrated with a refridgerator, this LG unit may be your answer......I guess they got that wrong.

In my fride if you turn the cool dial all the way down it has an off setting.
Also can turn off the invertor but it still has a huge draw I still use battery disconnect when parked.
