Tv question

On my 377xl if i watch a dvd i can listen it on the home theatre system. When i watch tv on sat on antenna it doesn't play on the home theatre. Is that normal or is there a way to listen to it on the theatre system?

Your tv may not hooked up to your sound system or you may have to turn off your internal tv speakers for the output to work going into your sound system. This can be done in the menu of your tv if you have the connections already.

What year 377? Clarion radio? You may need to select "AUX IN" or "AV IN" on the Clarion unit, if that's what you have.

It only works from the TV in the Living room, not from the front TV.

Set the Radio to Aux 1 or Aux 2, depending on how your radio is set up.

You need to look on the back of the television and see if the audio outputs are hooked up. If they are you will need to go into the setup menus to ensure sound is directed to them. You should also verify that the cables are hooked up on the audio system.

If your sat receiver is close, run two rca cables from the audio output on the receiver to the aux input on your surround sound system and turn the surround sound on with the satellite and viola! Just turn the volume on your TV down, and control the volume through the surround sound system.
