Ugh another question. Inverter??

The coach should have a inverter to power some of the AC outputs. But none of them work. No breakers are tripped… what gives?

Do you know where the inverter is? Is it turned on? What model RV do you have? Do the receptacles work when on shore power? Do you have a residential fridge?

First, find the inverter. Some have an on/off switch on the front panel, some have a remote switch in the switch panel….

Apologies, 21 Georgetown gt3. No clue where the inverter is. Have looked all over. The converter is near the transfer switch. But no idea where the inverter is

The OP asked in the Georgetown MH forum, so possibly a Georgetown owner would be able to answer this question.

From what I've read, apparently some GT3's only had an inverter for the residential refrigerator, not outlets. What model year and exact model do you have?

If you have an inverter for the outlets, normally FR only powers the non-GFCI outlets with the inverter.

Somewhere inside you will have an inverter control panel. Do you have one? Ours is rectangular while newer ones are round.

No inverter control panel. We have the typical panel with battery, tank and propane levels. Solar controller and that’s it. 2021 Georgetown gt3 32a3

I do not see anything about an inverter in the GT3 MECHANICAL section on this page: https://forestriverinc.com/rvs/class...n-3-series-gt3

I do see the mention of a 2,000 watt inverter in the same section for the GT5 and GT7, though.

Dare I ask who told you that the GT3 has an inverter?

It was an assumption, and mistake on my part. Definitely not one listed in the specs…. SMH thanks for the guidance.

Mine doesn't...outlets get power from pedestal OR generator. If you have a

household fridge and extra batteries then you may find one for that outlet and maybe another.

The manufacturers do not trust the RV customer base like the marine industry has for decades. I have done the following for many and my own. I did it for my TT that I had for 3 months. The RV dealership asked me to remove it when I traded in the TT on the RV because no one wants is - LOL. Everyone wants to plug in. Funny, you can still plug in if you have it. I am usually the only RV surrounded by tents where I go. Many wish they had AC, hot water, and a Kitchen like me. I prefer Off-Grid to see the country instead of a parking spot.

System has a 5KW Inverter/Charger and an additional 800Ah 3rd battery bank in addition to the start battery and an upgraded 300Ah coach bank. I can isolate or connect all 3 as needed. Many get jealous, including RVs, when I run my AC (on battery & inverter) during quiet hours at National Parks. So many say, that is NOT Possible - As i watch them complain about the heat ....
